Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, you are responsible for the return shipping label. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

MCRD Museum Gift Shop Shipping and Return Policy

Thank you for shopping with the MCRD Museum Gift Shop! All purchases made online and in store help support programs for our nation’s Marines, Sailors, veterans, and Gold Star Families. Products sold here are fully licensed by the Marine Corps and are sourced from approved vendors.

Shipping

How is shipping priced?

Shipping rates are charged to you at a flat rate of $6.99 for USPS standard shipping. Orders over $100.00 ship free!

When are orders processed?

Orders placed before 1100 PST are processed that business day, orders placed after 1100 PST are processed the next business day (Mon-Fri)

How long will it take to receive my order after it ships?

The shipping option selected at checkout will determine the number of days your item takes to ship. We are not responsible for packages once it has been received by the carrier. In case of any mistakes during deliveries, packages will be returned to our facility and we will contact you for further steps.

What if my item is out of stock?

If an item you ordered is out of stock you will be notified by email. You may elect to receive a refund or to receive a similar item if one is available.

Do you offer in store pickup of orders?

Currently we are not offering local pickup of online orders due to the Depot's restricted access protocols. Once Depot access is restored to all visitors we plan to resume in store pickup of orders.

Are your products licensed with the Marine Corps?

Yes, we are proud to say that all products carried by the MCRD Museum Gift Shop are fully licensed and approved for sale by the Marine Corps. Purchasing Marine Corps licensed items is important as it ensures proceeds from sales are sent to the appropriate parties.

Returns

Damaged Merchandise:

If you receive damaged merchandise please contact us immediately by email at Marketing@mcrdmhs.org with your name and order number and a description of damaged items. Please keep all wrapping materials including interior and exterior containers.

Customized Merchandise:

With regards to customized products, we are not responsible for spelling errors, please proofread your order before submitting.

Yearbooks, Platoons, and Composite Photos:

Purchases on yearbooks, platoons, and composite photos are final sale and non-refundable. We are not responsible for the condition they may be in as they are 1-of-1 items, not copies. If you have any questions regarding a purchase please contact us at Marketing@mcrdmhs.org.
